Rob Porto runs several websites in Harrison, NY that support preservation of open space, reasonable taxes, and oppose over-development, an issue for which he has fought many local battles He is a programming expert, particularly in FoxPro, and is a Microsoft Net work Administrator.

Fay Muir, Bronx, NY
BS Business Management, St. Francis College. Member Northwest Bronx Community & Clergy Coalition, Norwood Food Cooperative, Order of Secular Franciscans. Editor of bi-monthly educational CWCWC Newsletter. CWCWC has won a lawsuit against surface drilling in NY State Forests and is preparing to challenge subsurface drilling.

Former TV journalist; actress. Co-founded NYC Blockwatcher Asso. to remediate air pollution from faulty incinerators and oil burners, collaborating with City agencies, press, politicians. Former board member Peach Lake Environmental Committee. Founder and chair Hands Across the Border (HAB). Commendations from NYS Assembly and Westchester County Legislators.

Ann Fanizzi, Putnam County, NY
Educator/administrator NYC Board of Education. UFT Trachtenburg Award for exemplary leadership, Mayor's Citation for Resident Association. Chair Putnam County Coalition to Preserve Open Space. Initiated campaign to Save Tilly Foster Farm. Successfully campaigned for $5 million bond fund for open space acquisition. Leads county/town efforts to establish energy conservation/energy codes.
George Klein, Westchester County, NY
Lead activist and for many years chair of Sierra Club’s Lower Hudson Group (LHG) covering Westchester, Putnam and Rockland Counties. Main priority is to keep activists productive on environmental issues, lobbying, and communications. LHG has been a proud supporter and partner of CWCWC and its mission since its inception.
Susan Leifer, Westcheseter County, NY
Sierra Club Lower Hudson Group. Activist in opposition to “fracking,” Indian Point, desalinization of the Hudson River. “I use all my efforts to encourage others to demand our government support clean and renewable energy. It is a fight for survival to ensure that we save clean water and air for those following us.”
Jerry Ravnitzky, Putnam County, NY
B.B.A., CCNY; M.A.,Temple U. Thirty-three years experience in school and clinical psychology. Provided counseling for service personnel & liaison with local school districts while in U.S. Army. President of Concerned Residents of Carmel and Mahopac for past 14 years, encouraging community awareness, promoting volunteerism and organizing CRCM Candidate Forums.
